Lars Tang
Lars have a skills in complex rehabilitation interventions and focuses on how health-care professionals can use complex exercise-based health interventions to support people who suffer from one or more chronic conditions. Specifically, a return to daily life focus by including physical activity and exercise therapy as self-management strategies have been a leading element in his research. The main research has been in exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation – hereunder patients’ preferences and barriers for participation and alternative modes in which rehabilitation can be delivered. Addition he have mapped the provision of several rehabilitation services at a local and a national level to help strengthen the adoption and implementation of these services. One of his largest motivation is to find complexed and pragmatic interventions that will work in everyday clinical practice and still serve patients’ preference and needs.
