Marwan Al-Dawoud
Dr Marwan Al-Dawoud is a highly skilled Sports and Exercise Medicine Doctor with a specialty in tendon issues, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and interventional treatment. After earning his medical qualification from the University of Manchester in 2007, Dr. Marwan underwent training in General Practice and furthered his expertise by pursuing higher studies in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
With a wealth of experience working in various high-profile sports leagues including Rugby League Super League, Premiership Rugby Union, Premiership Football, and UK Athletics, Dr Marwan has also served as the Lead Doctor for England Rugby League, England Partially Sighted Football and Head of Medical Services for Leeds Rhinos, contributing to their Challenge Cup Final win.
Dr Marwan currently holds the position of National Sport and Exercise Medicine Doctor for Connect Health, the largest independent musculoskeletal healthcare service in the UK. He also serves as a reviewer for the prestigious British Medical Journal for Sport and Exercise Medicine. Operating throughout Yorkshire and the North West of England, Dr Marwan provides invaluable expertise in NHS musculoskeletal services.
