Derek Clewley
Dr. Clewley is an assistant professor and the director of post professional education at Duke University in the Division of Doctor of Physical Therapy. His specific area of expertise and training is orthopaedics and manual physical therapy. He has achieved board certification in orthopaedics, and is recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. His primary research interests and publication record include the investigation of healthcare seeking behavior, manual physical therapy, dry needling, and pain sciences. He has presented at a number of conferences on the topics. Dr. Clewley also has extensive experience in the development of continuing education, residency, and fellowship post graduate training programs.
